Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Texas seeks a Vice President, AI Compliance Officer to provide second-line oversight of AI initiatives across Wealth Management. You will advise governance teams, review AI/ML compliance, and participate in firmwide governance and reporting to senior management.

The role emphasizes collaboration with legal, risk, and technology stakeholders, with in‑person interviews and eventual relocation to Dallas. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in AI governance and regulatory oversight.
• Familiar with regulatory frameworks related to AI, data usage, and consumer protection.
• Experience reviewing AI/ML models and Generative AI for compliance.
• Collaborates with business, legal, risk and technology stakeholders.
• Ability to lead policy and training initiatives for AI governance.
• Experience presenting to governance committees and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Advise AI governance and platforms teams on compliance requirements.
• Review AI/ML models for regulatory compliance and risk.
• Assess AI risks including conflicts of interest and implement controls.
• Support monitoring tests and remediation with Compliance teams.
• Draft and maintain policies and training for AI usage.
• Participate in governance forums and management reporting.
• Support regulatory inquiries, audits, and examinations.
