Job summary

Blue Signal Search seeks a hands-on VP of Hardware Engineering to own the full silicon program from architecture to tape-out. You will build and scale a world-class hardware team, drive aggressive schedules, and deliver high-performance AI inference ASICs for datacenter workloads.

You will partner with software and AI teams to optimize latency and throughput, manage foundries and EDA vendors, and present to executives and investors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing high-performance silicon for compute workloads.
• At least one successful tape-out in a leadership role.
• Expertise in SoC/ASIC architecture, RTL, verification, physical design, and DFT.

Responsibilities

• Define architectural vision for data-center AI inference accelerator.
• Translate vision into scalable ASIC implementation and roadmap.
• Own silicon lifecycle: RTL, verification, physical, tape-out, post-silicon validation.
• Build and mentor a high-performance HW engineering organization and recruiting pipeline.
• Partner with applied-AI and software teams for HW–SW co-design to optimize tokens-per-second and latency.
