Job summary

Positron AI, building AI inference accelerators, seeks a Technical Product Planning leader to own the silicon and systems product line from architecture to rack-scale deployment. You will write PRDs anchoring the hardware roadmap, convert customer signals into engineering requirements, and maintain robust performance and cost models to defend decisions.

You will collaborate with engineering and GTM teams to communicate the roadmap, understand market needs, and drive lifecycle management and SKU

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience with a mix of silicon, systems, or architecture roles
• Experience owning feature or architecture trade-offs
• Experience with cloud-scale server deployments, power/cooling, rack integration
• Ability to perform roofline modeling, bandwidth/utilization, and cost/perf arithmetic
• Experience in AI inference systems competitive landscaping and analysis
• Strong communication skills and ability to drive decision socialization

Responsibilities

• Lead Silicon & Systems Technical Product Planning across architecture to rack-scale systems
• Write PRDs anchoring hardware roadmap and translate signals into engineering requirements
• Develop performance models and competitive analyses to defend requirements
• Collaborate with engineering and GTM to communicate a roadmap
• Define product lifecycle and SKUs, maintain design briefs and roadmaps
• Drive supplier and partner technology roadmaps and feasibility frameworks
• Document hardware & systems products thoroughly
• Streamline planning processes using agentic AI
