Job summary

State of Georgia seeks a Voting Systems Generalist to support county election offices with operations, testing, ballot building, and readiness activities. You will coordinate deployment, training, and technology upgrades to ensure secure and efficient voting systems across the state.

The role requires collaboration with county officials, vendors, and internal IT teams, along with travel across Georgia to support elections and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Political Science, Public Administration, Education, or related field.
• 1+ year of related experience in election administration, information technology, or training.
• Experience with voting systems, election management systems, or ballot building operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate statewide election readiness activities and support equipment validation.
• Assist with ballot building operations and election preparation activities.
• Support Election Day operations and provide technical assistance to county election offices.
• Participate in post-election reviews, audits, and equipment reconciliation activities.
• Maintain inventory records and coordinate deployment, replacement, and lifecycle management of equipment.
• Provide training programs and develop user guides and reference materials.
