Job summary

The State of Georgia is seeking a Voting Systems Generalist to join the Information Technology – Voting Systems team. You will support county election offices statewide, coordinate equipment testing, ballot building, and election readiness activities while liaising with vendors and the Secretary of State’s Office.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in election administration or IT, plus knowledge of voting systems and training delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in election administration, information technology, technical support, training, project coordination, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Information Systems, Political Science, Public Administration, Education, or a related field preferred.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ or similar are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support statewide election readiness activities.
• Assist with election equipment validation and acceptance testing.
• Assist with in-house ballot building operations and election preparation activities.
• Support Election Day operations and provide technical assistance to county election offices during elections.
• Participate in post-election reviews, audits, and equipment reconciliation activities.
• Support the rollout of election-related initiatives, technology upgrades, and process improvements.
