Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a substitute teacher who can demonstrate strong Biblical knowledge and teaching ability. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, caring, perceptive, and proficient in teaching students.

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the lesson plans using the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain Records: Take attendance in each class and provide attendance records to the teacher.
• Maintain Classroom: Keep a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom; know emergency procedures.
• Communicate: Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador, communicate lesson plans with volunteers, and coordinate with the teacher.
