LifeWise Academy is seeking substitute teachers in the Springfield, Ohio area to support LifeWise classrooms on an as-needed basis. The role emphasizes a strong Christian testimony, reliable communication, and commitment to the LifeWise curriculum under the supervision of local teachers.

The ideal candidate will actively participate in a local church and demonstrate a caring, perceptive approach to students. Training will be provided, and adherence to LifeWise policies is required.

Qualifications

• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
• Implement lesson plans using LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment according to LifeWise policies
• Follow the program's student discipline policy
• Take attendance in each class and provide records to the teacher
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom
• Know procedures for emergencies
• Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and assign duties
• Communicate with the teacher
