Job summary

Responsibilities include developing short- and long-range plans, coordinating programs, building community outreach, interviewing and placing volunteers, and maintaining volunteer files in alignment with Joint Commission

Responsibilities

• Assisting in development, coordination, and management of the CDCE Office and independent management of programs.
• Developing and implementing programs to meet facility or VA-affiliated needs.
• Developing innovative community outreach programs that provide volunteers and financial resources.
• Developing and delivering presentations to diverse groups within the facility and off-site.
• Interviewing, scheduling, placement, and evaluation of volunteers.
• Preparing volunteer personnel files per Joint Commission and VHA standards.
• Coordinating and managing donations; developing tax-deductibility documentation.
• Planning and executing complex internal and external special events.
