Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years related work experience.
• Experience in volunteer recruitment, coordination, training, and supervision preferred.
• Proficient reading/writing/speaking English.
• Ability to present and speak to groups and the Board.
• Flexible to work weekends/evenings.
• Must be able to drive and travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate a comprehensive volunteer program including recruitment and screening.
• Develop and implement a volunteer recruitment strategy for the location.
• Serve as liaison between volunteers and staff to ensure program needs are met.
• Identify how volunteers can fulfill defined program needs with staff.
• Maintain volunteer management system postings and current needs.
• Maintain master calendar and distribute notices to staff.
• Maintain detailed records in the volunteer database.
• Design and implement volunteer engagement retention and recognition plans.
• Assist with campus tours and special events.
