Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory in Milwaukee County seeks a dedicated Volunteer Services Coordinator to administer, develop, and coordinate volunteer activities across the Milwaukee Area Command. Qualifications

• Three years experience in volunteer administration.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license with approval to drive by TSA insurance.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Directs an active recruitment program to grow the volunteer database, including both individual and corporate opportunities.
• Ensures the screening process matches volunteer interests and skills to available opportunities.
• Develops and maintains volunteer job descriptions and program guides to aid in matching volunteer skills.
• Plans and conducts volunteer recognition activities and events, and provides information for ongoing recognition of volunteers at corps, institutions, and programs in the Milwaukee Area Command.
• Coordinates the statistical reporting of volunteer activities and maintains pertinent information.
• Develops and implements evaluation methods for the volunteer program and volunteers, participants and staff.

Education
