Reserve Care, formerly Hospice of the Western Reserve, is seeking a Manager of Volunteer Services for the New Lakeside Facility in Cleveland, OH. You will supervise volunteers across patient and non-patient settings and liaise with staff to ensure seamless volunteer support.

The role emphasizes recruitment, training, scheduling, and program evaluation, with a focus on quality care and community engagement. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general management principles and practices.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and program evaluation for volunteer programs.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relations with others.
• Ability to apply agency policies with good judgment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Selects, assigns and schedules volunteers to meet patients’ and families’ needs.
• Designs and implements community volunteer recruitment plans and promotes integration with teams.
• Maintains accurate documentation of volunteer assignments and hours.
• Precepts and trains volunteers; conducts annual evaluations in consultation with teams.
• Identifies outreach opportunities and coordinates events and presentations.
• Maintains records and provides timely data and reports on volunteer participation.
• Performs other duties as required and supports diversity initiatives.
• Promotes diversity and provides responsive customer service.
