Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, public administration or related field and some volunteer management experience.
• Experience in volunteer management, training or community relations is preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and maintain records with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, coordinates and supervises activities of volunteers in patient care and non-patient care settings.
• Selects, assigns and schedules volunteers to meet patients'/families' needs and requests.
• Maintains documentation of volunteer assignments and hours served.
• Recruits, trains and orients volunteers; conducts annual evaluations.
• Identifies community outreach opportunities and coordinates events.
• Maintains records and provides timely statistical reports on volunteer participation.
• Performs other duties and ensures positive customer-service standards.
• Promotes diversity and organizational practices.
