Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado (VOAC) seeks a Full-Time Volunteer Specialist in Commerce City, CO to recruit, orient, train and coordinate volunteers for the Meals on Wheels program, ensuring volunteers are assigned to delivery routes and work closely with Aging & Nutrition Services, Drivers and program teams to keep service reliable.

You will maintain volunteer records, compile monthly metrics, deliver reports for funding and compliance, assist with volunteer recognition events, support

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with volunteers or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license and automobile insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate volunteers to support Meals on Wheels delivery routes.
• Maintain volunteer records and hours; ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare monthly reports for funding and compliance.
• Engage with Aging & Nutrition Services staff and volunteers.
• Support volunteer recruitment and engagement events.
• Ensure continuity of volunteer coordination during staff absences.
