Job summary

Hinds LifeCare, a leading nonprofit in California’s Central Valley, seeks a Volunteer Services Coordinator to direct Fresno outpatient volunteers and support staff. The role develops diverse volunteer opportunities, attends IDG meetings, and ensures policies are followed.

Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, placing volunteers, resolving issues, and organizing recognition events. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with immunizations and a valid CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• One year of volunteer experience preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates Fresno Outpatient Services volunteers and functions.
• Develops and promotes volunteer opportunities within Fresno services and offices.
• Attends IDG meetings and coordinates volunteer activities with staff.
• Recruits, interviews, and places volunteers and informs them of policies.
• Organizes volunteer recognition programs and resolves grievances.
• Supports administrative needs and maintains positive relationships with staff.
