Job summary

The American Red Cross in Wisconsin is seeking a recruiter to grow the volunteer network across 18 counties in Northwestern Wisconsin. This hybrid role requires residency in Wisconsin and travel to support recruiting activities and events.

You will develop broad recruitment strategies, perform screenings, and place volunteers to meet operational goals while supporting mission-critical activities with engagement programs.

Qualifications

• Education and general experience must total the minimum requirements.
• Combination of education and experience may satisfy the description.
• 5+ years of related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize recruitment strategies to meet volunteer metrics and maintain records.
• Identify and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and organizations.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating volunteer orientations and events.
• Evaluate and modify recruitment strategies based on lessons learned.
• Provide coaching to volunteer teams and foster engagement.
• Develop volunteer needs assessments and align goals with stakeholders.
