MyMichigan Medical Group is seeking a volunteer services leader to oversee programs at Saginaw and Standish, developing and maintaining volunteer relationships within the health system.

You will coordinate onboarding, training, and event support, ensuring policy compliance and alignment with MyMichigan Health standards. Strong relationship-building and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with volunteer populations.
• Ability to organize and motivate others.
• Proficient in computer use and software literacy.
• Experience leading volunteers and/or volunteer programs preferred.
• Ability to work remotely and independently with offsite leadership and to engage the volunteer workforce.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, evaluate and monitor all functions of the volunteer program for MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw and Standish, focusing on growth and recruitment.
• Build relationships with and support volunteers in service and fundraising activities; streamline department administration.
• Assist with scheduling oversight and support for volunteers through volunteer management software.
• Assist with community and volunteer events.
• Oversee and support volunteer services and operations across sites; promote volunteer policies and standards.
