Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking an Executive Vice President to provide strategic leadership for the Medical Group (MMG), guiding departments, staff, and physician relations to advance patient care and organizational goals.

The role emphasizes financial oversight, policy development, and collaboration with senior leadership to implement changes that improve outcomes and efficiency across MMG and affiliated market leadership.

Qualifications

• Five years of management experience in a medical practice or similar setting.
• Leadership skills to effectively lead a team and drive standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication to engage diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee practice managers and senior managers; collaborate with market directors on daily operations.
• Coordinate activities with leadership to identify objectives and plan long-term.
• Develop and implement departmental programs, standards, and policies including Rural Health Clinic activities.
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, capital, operating, and staffing plans; perform cost-benefit analyses for new programs or equipment.
• Coordinate community activities with marketing to promote growth and service.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and participate in physician recruitment and retention.
