Habitat for Humanity Portland Region is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to lead volunteer programs, engagement, and outreach for our local ReStores. You will partner with the Store Manager for daily operations and collaborate with the Volunteer Programs Team to develop programs and grow staff.

You will empower staff and volunteers to create a welcoming, mission-driven volunteer experience. Known for positivity, adaptability, teamwork, and problem-solving, you thrive in social settings

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated skill in group facilitation while creating an inclusive environment.
• Ability to multi-task and complete projects with interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Manage volunteer profiles and review applications in Get Connected.
• Coordinate outreach events and table at neighborhoods as needed.
• Audit volunteer hours, onboarding, and maintain database.
• Manage in-store volunteer recognition budget under Store Manager.
• Solicit volunteer content for newsletters and social media spotlights.
• Maintain inventory of volunteer supplies and incentives.
• Train staff on volunteer best practices and Get Connected usage.
• Engage volunteers to support store operations and mission.
