Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Laredo, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a skilled leader to oversee the hospital gift shop and coordinate volunteer services. You will manage merchandise, pricing, and inventory while strengthening volunteer programs and community partnerships.

You'll develop recruitment, recognition and fundraising initiatives, ensuring service excellence in alignment with the hospital's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of retail management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of nonprofit management and volunteer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gift shop operations including customer service, merchandise selection, sales, display and inventory management.
• Utilize POS system to price and pull reports and strengthen volunteer programs.
• Develop strategies for volunteer recruitment, recognition, fundraising and program initiatives; represent the volunteer organization within the community.
