El Paso Children’s Hospital Corporation is seeking a Volunteer Services Coordinator to plan, organize, and implement recruitment, training, and scheduling of volunteers to support our hospital operations and patient care.

The role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with experience in healthcare or customer relations preferred. Fluency in English; Spanish preferred, and the ability to work with diverse populations is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in business or customer relations, preferably in healthcare setting.
• Associate’s degree in a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of English grammar, punctuation and spelling.
• Flexibility and adaptability to change.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop and implement program goals, policies and procedures.
• Strong analytical problem solving skills.
• Negotiation, mediation and problem resolution skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment with customers and physicians.
• Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks.
• Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to safeguard confidential information.
• Fluency in English; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement recruitment, training and scheduling of volunteer workers.
• Augment services provided to internal and external customers.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to support volunteer programs.
• Maintain confidentiality and manage volunteer records with accuracy.
