Job summary

Regional West Medical Services in Scottsbluff, NE seeks a Volunteer Program Supervisor to provide leadership, oversight and strategic direction for the volunteer program, enhancing patient care and hospital operations.

You will recruit, screen, place, orient, train and engage volunteers, coordinate onboarding with Human Resources, and build community partnerships that strengthen service delivery and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills required.
• Experience coordinating volunteers or nonprofit/healthcare programs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the volunteer program, including recruitment, screening, placement, orientation, training and ongoing engagement.
• Coordinate onboarding requirements with Human Resources and maintain volunteer records and compliance documentation.
• Develop and implement recognition programs and build community partnerships to enhance patient experience.
