Responsibilities

• Functions as consultant to staff who supervise volunteers, helping them learn supervisory skills and resolve issues.
• Coordinates selection, placement and evaluation of volunteers with staff, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Develops and implements new volunteer services to enhance patient care and experience.
• Recruits, interviews, orients, screens and trains volunteers; ensures onboarding process.
• Schedules the work of volunteers to ensure coverage across units.
• Maintains accurate volunteer records and prepares annual reports.
