Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties is seeking a dynamic Volunteer Program Manager to recruit, engage, and retain volunteers across construction sites, stores, and affiliate offices. You will design onboarding, training, and recognition programs while coordinating volunteer opportunities and communications to maximize impact on affordable housing in our region.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years in volunteer coordination or fundraising, strong written and verbal communication,

Qualifications

• BA or equivalent in volunteer management, nonprofit management, fundraising, business, event management, or related field is required.
• 2–5 years’ experience in fundraising, special events, or volunteer coordination preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to speak effectively to groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Raiser's Edge CRM software.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, engagement, retention, recognition, and evaluation of volunteers.
• Coordinate volunteer events, orientations, trainings, and on-site activities.
• Manage volunteer communications, newsletters, and inquiries via email and events.
• Administer VolunteerHub and Raiser's Edge data entry and reporting.
• Partner with community groups, corporate sponsors, and Youth programs to grow involvement.
