Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a part-time Volunteer Management System Administrator to support the rollout, adoption, and ongoing stabilization of the Golden Volunteer Management System across the USA Western Territory.

Reporting to the Territorial Director of Volunteer Engagement and partnering with IT, this role manages user access, frontline support, documentation, training, and best practices to improve data quality and system adoption.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two+ years of administrative, operations, customer support, or systems support experience.
• Experience with volunteer management, CRM, or database systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line field support and issue triage for Golden system users.
• Assist with user access administration and role definitions in collaboration with IT and leadership.
• Maintain current knowledge of Golden functionality and update training materials accordingly.
• Create and maintain user-facing documentation, quick reference guides, and Help Center resources.
• Coordinate recurring Office Hours, track questions, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Support data cleanup, configuration tasks, and quality assurance for reliable system data.
• Develop strong working relationships with divisional Volunteer Engagement leads.
