Job summary

Vivalon in Marin County seeks a Volunteer Outreach & Engagement Administrator to lead the volunteer lifecycle, from recruitment through retention and recognition. You’ll build partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and corporate partners to expand meaningful service opportunities for older adults and other community members.

The role requires strong relationship-building, event representation, and data management experience, with a passion for healthy aging and community connection.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience with volunteers or community outreach.
• Experience with public speaking and presenting to diverse audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead volunteer recruitment and community outreach initiatives.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and background checks for volunteers.
• Foster an inclusive volunteer culture and recognize contributions.
• Track metrics and prepare program reports for leadership.
