Vivalon in Marin County seeks a Volunteer Outreach & Engagement Administrator to lead recruitment, onboarding, recognition, and community outreach for our Healthy Aging Campus.

The role collaborates with departments, builds partnerships with schools, businesses, and organizations, and creates meaningful opportunities to engage older adults and reduce isolation. This position offers the chance to grow a vibrant volunteer program and directly impact the well-being of Marin's aging community.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience working with volunteers, volunteer programs, community outreach, or a related field.
• Experience with public speaking, presentations, networking, and community engagement.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to build positive relationships with volunteers, staff, donors, and community partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems and Salesforce preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, and background checks.
• Coordinate volunteer onboarding, orientation, training, and background check processes.
• Foster an inclusive and welcoming volunteer culture that encourages engagement and long-term commitment.
• Lead volunteer appreciation and recognition programs.
• Track volunteer recruitment, engagement, retention, and outreach metrics.
• Prepare reports and program insights for leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate volunteer assignments and scheduling to support organizational needs.
