Job summary

Three Square Food Bank is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to lead volunteers, oversee daily warehouse operations, and ensure safe, organized, and engaging experiences. The role involves guiding volunteers, setting up workspaces, and maintaining inventory control while supporting training and program requirements.

The position requires strong communication, organization, and a commitment to volunteer engagement and operational excellence, with willingness to obtain forklift and pallet jack

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist volunteers on-site and off-site with daily tasks and safety procedures.
• Assign tasks based on skills and priorities for accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse workspace.
• Foster a positive volunteer experience with support and recognition.
• Communicate with volunteers and report activities to the Volunteer Manager.
• Evaluate product needs for large volunteer groups and manage inventory checks.
