Job summary

Eloise Cooking Pot Food Bank is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead receiving, warehousing and distribution for a small food bank facility. You will supervise inventory, coordinate with logistics partners and ensure operations meet safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes process improvements, budget awareness, and staff development to support timely order fulfillment and service delivery to clients. This position requires on-site work in Tacoma, WA.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
• Experience implementing process improvements.
• Strong knowledge of KPI metrics.
• Experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Leadership and staff management skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations to ensure efficient flow of products.
• Oversee space planning, layout optimization and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and security standards.
• Prepare annual budget and monitor expenditures.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
• Generate reports and statistics on inventory and throughput.
• Recruit, train and motivate warehouse staff.
• Monitor performance against productivity targets and KPIs.
• Maintain data integrity across storage and ERP systems.
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and dispatch.
