Job summary

Hope Services is seeking a warehouse associate to support daily operations in our Silicon Valley facilities. You will assist with receiving, sorting, and distributing materials while guiding client workers and volunteers under supervision.

A forklift certification is a plus and safety standards must be followed. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 40 lb and stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School GED preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus and may be provided for obtaining certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily warehouse operations including receiving, sorting, handling, and distributing materials and products.
• Provide training support to client workers and volunteers in area of assignment.
• Ensure equipment is tested for safety and current standards.
• Follow all safety practices and work as part of a cooperative team.
• Inform supervisor of concerns related to scope of work, operations or materials.
• Assign tasks and direct volunteers based on operational needs.
• Act as a mandated abuse reporter.
• Perform other duties as assigned to maintain efficiency.
