Job summary

Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina is seeking an Administrative Volunteer Coordinator to support volunteer operations across branches, manage scheduling, data, and communications, and help coordinate events and appreciation efforts. This in-person role is based in Raleigh and reports to the Director of Volunteer Engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of office management or administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate volunteer activities across branches.
• Manage centralized volunteer phone line and inquiries.
• Maintain volunteer data, hours, and reporting metrics.
• Support volunteer events and appreciation initiatives.
• Provide exceptional customer service to volunteers, schools, and partners.
