Job summary

The SAFE Alliance seeks a Volunteer Coordinator for the Community Engagement Services program in the Human Resources & Volunteer Services department. The coordinator supports volunteer recruitment, orientation, training, recognition, and engagement while providing exceptional service to volunteers, staff, and community partners.

Based in the Austin area with travel between campuses and some remote/hybrid work, the role reports to the Volunteer Services Director and helps ensure efficient

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Human Services, or related field required; bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum of two years in volunteer management, onboarding, HR, program coordination, or nonprofit administration.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience maintaining volunteer, intern, onboarding, compliance, and service records.
• Experience in preparing reports for funders and leadership.
• Experience coordinating training sessions, recognition activities, events, and partnerships.
