Habitat for Humanity of Lee & Hendry Counties is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, onboard, schedule, and retain volunteers across construction sites, ReStore locations, events, and administrative operations. This role ensures a steady volunteer pipeline and robust engagement to support the organization’s mission.

The position collaborates with multiple departments to place volunteers effectively and maintains accurate records of hours and activities for reporting and program

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating volunteers or community engagement.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and data tracking is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Recruit and sustain enough volunteers to meet organizational needs across Construction, ReStore, Events, and Administration.
• Build relationships with volunteers, community groups, faith-based orgs, schools, and corporate partners.
• Attend service-learning and recruitment fairs to promote opportunities and expand the volunteer base.
• Coordinate with site supervisors to ensure volunteers are properly placed and supported.
• Track volunteer hours and engagement data for reporting and program evaluation.
• Plan and lead Volunteer Kick-off and Recognition Events.
