Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated teacher to share the gospel with public school students using LifeWise curriculum. The role combines Bible knowledge with engaging classroom teaching and requires active participation in a local church.

The candidate will complete the LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days, attend the LifeWise Summit yearly, and build relationships with students while maintaining organized classrooms and consistent communication with school staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out curriculum customization.
• Invest in connecting with students through building relationships and praying for them regularly.
• Cultivate an organized, encouraging and engaging classroom environment with redemptive discipline.
• Apply LifeWise policies, procedures and resources.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters; provide records to program director as needed.
• Communicate with school personnel and volunteers; update program director with stories and photos.
