Job summary

Qualifications

• Two+ years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active participation in a local church with doctrine aligned to LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Maintain attendance records, class rosters, health concerns and permissions; prepare substitute materials.
• Keep classroom organized, engaging and redemptive; implement LifeWise policies and resources.
• Communicate with LifeWise staff, school personnel and volunteers; share updates and stories with the program director.
