Job summary

St Joseph Hospice is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to organize and grow our volunteer program. You will recruit, interview, and place volunteers, while building partnerships with community organizations to promote the hospice.

You will also oversee orientation and training, maintain volunteer records, and support mission-driven care. This full-time role includes ESOP benefits and competitive compensation in the Louisiana region.

Qualifications

• Two years experience working with volunteers.
• Ability to work well with people and communicate efficiently.
• Time management skills.
• Must have a current Louisiana driver's license, auto insurance and CPR.
• Hospice or healthcare setting experience preferred.
