Position Overview:
The Chrysalis Program is seeking a passionate and organized Volunteer Coordinator who will volunteer their time to ensure the seamless integration and engagement of volunteers within our organization. This role involves coordinating volunteers and actively participating in volunteer activities.

The Chrysalis Program cultivates self-love and acceptance, instills purpose, and supports the well-being of Black women, girls, and families through wellness, life skills, and creative arts programming.
The Chrysalis Program aims to reduce or eliminate the effects of childhood trauma for African American girls and their families on Chicago's South Side and beyond. We create safe spaces for healing, learning, and growth through Wellness Workshops, Counseling, Life Skill Classes, Creative Arts Lessons, Parent Classes, Enrichment Field Trips, Mentorship, and Community Events. Our holistic approach empowers participants by teaching life skills and coping strategies to improve their quality of life and that of their families.
