Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a reliable CDL bus driver to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, a valid CDL with a passenger endorsement, and meets faith-and-church involvement expectations.

Responsibilities include safe driving, vehicle maintenance, and ensuring a secure environment for children. Applicants must pass background, MVR, and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks, and comply with mandatory drug testing.

Qualifications

• Active CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement is required.
• Clean driving record within the last five years.
• Must pass background check, MVR, and FMCSA Clearinghouse check.
• Must complete pre-employment, annual random, and post-accident drug testing.
• Age between 21 and 80; annual CDL verification for drivers over 75.
• Committed to LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith and local church involvement.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey all traffic laws and maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment and enforce safety rules for students.
• Assist students during entry/exit and monitor behavior; maintain calm demeanor.
• Complete LifeWise Academy training and participate in classroom activity as agreed.
