Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a CDL bus driver to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, and maintains a clean driving record.

Responsibilities include transporting children and volunteers, enforcing safety rules, keeping the bus clean, performing inspections, and completing LifeWise training; background checks and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks are required.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement required.
• Driver must be 21–80 years old and have a clean driving record.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Background check and FMCSA Clearinghouse check required.
• Annual drug/alcohol testing as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus safety.
• Keep bus clean and perform regular inspections.
• Refuel as needed and create a safe environment for students.
• Assist students with entering/exiting the bus; enforce safety rules.
• Complete LifeWise Academy training; participate in classroom activities if directed.
