Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a dedicated teacher to share Bible instruction with public school students using the LifeWise curriculum. The role emphasizes classroom care, relationship-building, and redemptive discipline aligned with LifeWise policies.

Ideal candidates will actively participate in a local church, maintain strong communication with school staff, and complete LifeWise training and certification within the designated timelines.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and Certification before teaching.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization
• Invest in connecting with students through relationships and prayer
• Maintain attendance, rosters and parent permissions; prepare substitute materials as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-ordered classroom environment
• Communicate with school personnel and volunteers; support LifeWise mission in all duties
