Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Network Voice Engineer to join its IT team. You will design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise voice and unified communications systems, focusing on VoIP infrastructure, call control platforms, gateways, SBCs, and integration with the data network for high availability and quality.

This role requires 3–5 years of VoIP experience, familiarity with Cisco Voice platforms, and strong networking knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of experience in VoIP and enterprise voice environments.
Strong experience with VoIP, IP telephony, and Cisco Voice platforms (CUCM/Unity/UCCX).
Experience with QoS, network security, and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and support VoIP and Unified Communications solutions (on-prem, cloud, or hybrid).
Manage call control platforms (e.g., CUCM, Webex Calling, Teams Voice).
Configure voice gateways, SBCs, SIP trunks, and PSTN connectivity.
Monitor voice quality (latency, jitter, MOS) and troubleshoot issues.
Implement QoS, VLANs, and security measures for voice traffic.
Collaborate with network, security, and application teams; provide Tier 2/3 support.
