Job summary

Velocity Network is seeking an in-house VoIP Support Specialist to join our team in Northwest Pennsylvania. You will provide advanced support for voice and managed fiber services, configuring VoIP solutions, triaging tickets, and ensuring timely resolution.

You will monitor alerts, collaborate with carriers, and mentor junior technicians while maintaining thorough documentation in Office 365 and IT Glue. Occasional travel to client sites is involved.

Qualifications

2+ years’ experience with VoIP or network hardware/software.
Strong knowledge of advanced Network and VoIP protocols.
Excellent written and oral communication and customer care.
Willing to work overtime and be on-call.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and travel to client sites occasionally.

Responsibilities

Lead small to medium-scale voice and phone system projects.
Monitor alerts in the remote monitoring system and respond.
Engineer voice-related projects and provide data for review by seniors/sales.
Maintain and troubleshoot VoIP hardware and software.
Provide telephony support for client issues across systems.
Stage and implement VoIP hardware/software for clients.
