Beacon Group in Arizona is seeking Direct Support Professionals to train and supervise adults with disabilities. The role focuses on delivering top-quality services and supports across our team, with opportunities for growth within the mission-driven nonprofit.

Responsibilities include patient, flexible supervision and hands-on duties to assist participants; a 40-hour Monday–Friday schedule is typical, and a $500 sign-on bonus is available along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pass drug test and background check.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Fingerprint clearance card or ability to obtain clearance.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License and pass Beacon driving test.
• Article IX and Prevention and Support certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Since 1952, Beacon Group has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities across Southern Arizona, Phoenix and beyond. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, Beacon serves over 2,000 people with disabilities each year. Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist nearly two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. We are looking for a patient, flexible and dedicated person to work with, train and supervise a fantastic team of adults with disabilities. Daily duties of this position is to provide top of the line services for the individuals on the team while providing quality service to the customers we provide a variety of services for. This is a hands-on position. The services that Beacon provides to our customers is dependent on the location and site needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Successfully pass the drug test and background check.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or able to obtain and maintain a CPR/First Aid/AED Certification.
