Job summary

Beacon Group is seeking dedicated professionals to support adults with disabilities in Southern Arizona and beyond. The role involves hands-on training, supervision, and delivering high-quality services to individuals and customers.

A strong emphasis on patient care, reliability, and teamwork guides daily work across sites. Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid, fingerprint clearance, and a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Fingerprint clearance card is required.
• Arizona Driver's License is required and must pass Beacon driving test.
• Article IX and Prevention and Support certificate or ability to obtain it.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-of-line services to individuals on the team and ensure quality service for customers.
• Train and supervise a team of adults with disabilities, ensuring a patient, flexible approach.
• Work as needed across locations, with site-dependent services and duties.

BACKGROUND: Since 1952, Beacon Group has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities across Southern Arizona, Phoenix and beyond. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, Beacon serves over 2,000 people with disabilities each year. Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist nearly two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. We are looking for a patient, flexible and dedicated person to work with, train and supervise a fantastic team of adults with disabilities. Daily duties of this position is to provide top of the line services for the individuals on the team while providing quality service to the customers we provide a variety of services for. This is a hands‑on position. The services that Beacon provides to our customers is dependent on the location and site needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Successfully pass the drug test and background check.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or able to obtain and maintain a CPR/First Aid/AED Certification.
• Fingerprint clearance card, or able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card.
