Job summary

Beacon Group in Tucson, AZ is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to train and supervise adults with disabilities across multiple sites. The role emphasizes patient, flexible care and top-quality services in a hands-on environment.

Qualified candidates will contribute to daily operations, deliver person-centered supports, and maintain credentialing and safety compliance. A sign-on bonus is available, and Beacon offers a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing to provide services to Behavioral Health clients referred by Arizona Complete Care Plans.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Successfully pass the drug test and background check.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or able to obtain and maintain a CPR/ First Aid Certification.
• Fingerprint clearance card, or able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card.
• Provide proof of good driving.
• Have a valid Arizona Driver's License
• Article IX and Prevention and Support certificate or able to obtain and maintain certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a GSA clearance (for some sites)
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on services to adults with disabilities.
• Train and supervise a team of individuals on site.
• Ensure quality service delivery across locations depending on site needs.
• Maintain credentialing and safety compliance as required.

BACKGROUND:

Since 1952, Beacon Group has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities across Southern Arizona, Phoenix and beyond. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, Beacon serves over 2,000 people with disabilities each year. Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist nearly two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. We are looking for a patient, flexible and dedicated person to work with, train and supervise a fantastic team of adults with disabilities. Daily duties of this position is to provide top of the line services for the individuals on the team while providing quality service to the customers we provide a variety of services for. This is a hands-on position. The services that Beacon provides to our customers is dependent on the location and site needs.
