Pacific College invites applications for a Vocational Nursing Instructor to support the LVN/VN program across Costa Mesa, Santa Fe Springs, and Ontario campuses. The role may involve theory, skills lab, and clinical teaching based on experience and program needs.

We seek a reliable educator who mentors students and fosters professional growth, with a long-term teaching interest and flexibility for weekend lab requirements and off-site clinical placements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience teaching or supervising nursing students in academic or clinical settings.
• Familiarity with LMS and instructional technology to support hybrid/online learning.
• Experience teaching VN/ VN programs and diverse learner populations.

Responsabilités

• Deliver theory, skills lab, and clinical instruction across VN content areas.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate student performance with focus on safety and quality.
• Maintain accurate records including attendance and evaluations in LMS.
• Collaborate with program leadership to ensure consistent student experience.
• Support clinical placement coordination and accreditation requirements.
• Provide timely feedback to promote student growth and progression.
• Participate in faculty meetings and ongoing professional development.
• Commit to a regular teaching schedule including weekday sessions; weekend labs may be required.
