Job summary

Pacific College is seeking passionate RNs and LVNs with teaching experience to support three campuses located in Costa Mesa, Lakewood, and Ontario.

Ideal candidates hold an active California RN/LVN license and a nursing degree or teaching credential, with at least two years of RN/LVN teaching or clinical experience in the last five years. Work is on Saturdays and/or Sundays with 8- or 12-hour shifts, adhering to California COVID-19 precautions.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Completion or official transcript; include course description if unclear.
• Active California RN or LVN license.
• Bachelor's degree or valid teaching credential, or 1 year teaching in RN/LVN program in CA; meet CA teaching requirements.

Responsibilities

Job description

Pacific College is seeking passionate RNs and LVNs with records of demonstrating effective teaching to support three campuses located in Costa Mesa (Orange County), Lakewood (Los Angeles), and Ontario (Inland Empire).

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Teaching Course: Certificate of Completion from an approved school or school transcript.
   If teaching content is unclear from the certificate or transcript, a copy of the course description from the school's catalog is required.
2. Hold a active California license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
3. Hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited school; or
   1. a valid teaching credential; or
   2. have completed a minimum of one year full-time teaching experience in a state approved registered nursing or vocational/practical nursing school within the last five years; or
   3. met community college or state university teaching requirements in California; and
4. Have a minimum of two years experience as a RN or LVN within the last five years.

Work Schedule:

• Saturdays and/or Sundays
• 8 or 12 hour shifts
