United Activities Unlimited, Inc. in Staten Island, NY seeks an Instructor to develop curriculum and deliver work readiness, financial literacy, leadership, and entrepreneurial training for the CRED program.

You will facilitate workshops, support clients ages 18-40, coordinate with case managers, and help students prepare for a Commercial Driver’s License while building life and employability skills. The role reports to the Program Director and Assistant Director, requires a Bachelor’s degree

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field is required or preferred.
NYS teaching certification or license is preferred for this role.
Experience developing academic and life skills curricula is essential.
Ability to engage, motivate, and guide individuals toward goals.

Responsibilities

Develop an engaging vocational training curriculum with activities and hands-on learning.
Facilitate daily workshops to build work readiness and life skills.
Provide tutoring in basic math, English, and communication for 18–40-year-olds.
Coordinate with guest speakers, mentors, and content experts.
Collaborate with CRED Case Managers and Job Developers in instruction.
