Job summary

Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs is seeking a part-time employment counselor to assist eligible clients in transitioning to work within the tribal employment program. You will meet with prospective employers and clients, conduct intakes, manage case files, and ensure confidentiality throughout the process.

A background check is required and an associates degree in Human Services or Social Work is preferred.

Job Description

Provide counseling and guidance to eligible clients who are employment ready. Meet and advocate with prospective employers and clients to develop job placement and to discuss objectives and VR services needed for plans of employment, monthly contact with clients, accomplishing written objectives in plans. Do intakes, case file management, maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

Valid Drivers License required, pass a criminal background check with Federal, Tribal and State Law Enforcement. Submit, pass and maintain a drug and alcohol free policy. Associated degree in Human Services or Social Work, two years of work with persons with disabilities. A combination of experience is acceptable.
