Job summary

Unitek Learning's Bakersfield campus seeks VN Instructors to teach on Saturdays and Sundays, 6am–7pm with a one-hour lunch. The role focuses on delivering quality nursing instruction and adapting to innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN licensure in the applicable state.
• Recent bedside nursing experience with licensure.
• Ability to mentor students in classroom, lab and clinical settings.
• Current immunizations and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach VN courses on Saturdays and Sundays (6am–7pm, with 1-hour lunch).
• Review and update syllabi to align with program guidelines.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and clinical check-off records.
• Participate in professional development and CE hours.
