Job summary

Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is seeking a Didactic Nursing Instructor (RN/LVN) for the Vocational Nursing program at our Sacramento Campus. This full-time role supports both morning and evening shifts.

The instructor will teach didactic classes in-person, collaborate with faculty, assist in program development, and ensure ongoing accreditation standards are met. A BSN or ASN/ADN is required, with RN or LVN licensure, and a minimum experience requirement as outlined.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse required.
• Bachelor's degree (BSN) or associate degree (ASN/ADN) in Nursing from an accredited school.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned Didactic classes in-person at the Gurnick Campus for the Vocational Nursing program.
• Meet with didactic and clinical faculty to discuss program development.
• Support the Campus Director and Nursing Program Coordinator in organizing and implementing program standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical education and ensure facilities meet continuing education requirements.
